1. Hydraulic Mechanic
Baltimore Hydraulics is looking for an In house Hydraulic Mechanic to rebuild hydraulic equipment and components. Baltimore Hydraulics, Inc. is a veteran owned company that provides a full range of quality driven repairs and service to the industrial, marine, construction, and mobile markets. Our focus has always been on quality and commitment to our customers.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or GED Certificate
• Bennet Mechanical Aptitude Test (Will be administered during interview)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Disassemble hydraulic components and repair as necessary. (Cylinder, accumulators, pumps, motors, and valves)
• Identify parts to be replaced using measuring devices (seals, bearings, etc.)
• Jobs will be completed in-house. May be asked to work in the field occasionally.
MECHANICAL/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Reliable individual with a good work ethic.
• Able to work with other departments in a team atmosphere.
• Experience with hydraulic components.
• Must have experience with and own basic hand tools.
• Experience with power tools.
• Able to read different measuring devices.
OTHER BENEFICIAL SKILLS: (NOT NECESSARY)
• International Fluid Power Society Certified
• Welding (Stick, MIG, TIG)
- Structural
- Pipe
• Skilled in the use of various cutting equipment.
- Band saw (horizontal & vertical)
- Oxygen-Acetylene Torch
• Experience in tube fitting & bending.
• Able to read and interpret drawings.
COMPENSATION:
• $18.00 to $38.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Work Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday, overtime as required. Job Type: Full-time.
2. Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Baltimore Hydraulics is looking for a heavy equipment mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on all types of heavy equipment (bucket trucks, cranes, lifts, etc.). Baltimore Hydraulics, Inc. is a veteran owned company with 58+ years of experience that provides a full range of quality driven repairs and service to the industrial, marine, construction, and mobile markets. Our focus has always been on quality and a strong commitment to our customers. JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position general focuses on troubleshooting & repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components on customer’s equipment at Baltimore Hydraulics. Occasionally, you will be sent into the field to troubleshoot and repair. Baltimore Hydraulics will provide training to the right person. JOB
RESPONSIBILITES:
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Troubleshoot 12v systems.
• Diagnose issues with heavy equipment and repair as necessary.
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
• Must work in a safe manner at all times.
• Remove cylinders, valves, hoses, etc. from equipment and replace components.
• Fabricate hoses on Parker crimping machine. (BHI will train how to make hoses)
• Perform DOT inspections on customer’s trucks.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or GED Certificate
• Valid driver license (CDL is a benefit but not required)
• Bennet Mechanical Aptitude Test (Will be administered during interview, must score 75% or higher)
COMPENSATION:
• $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
